Default Ipad! Do you want one?

    Do you want an Ipad?
The gadget geek in me is close to purchasing one.
The computer geek is so disappointed in the product that it hasn't let me yet.

The 15 dollar per month 3g internet with no contract is enough to be worth it for me.
But the device doesn't actually do anything I can't do already.
It is restrictive and proprietary and I can't run software I want on it.

It could be a good note taker for classes and maintain internet access.
But I already do this with a netbook. A tablet netbook would actually be better for note taking.

It won't run some shop information systems because on the restricted browser. Mitchell no. Alldata OK.

I'll probably buy one just to have one. I'm weak.

I really can't wait for the Microsoft Pad. That will be an easy spend for me.

Damn Apple for building a defective product that I can't pass up.

I personally do not see any upside to the IPad. Maybe it would be beneficial to people that like Mac, but I'm not one of them!

I find it more interesting than I originally thought it might be, but the idea of all the proprietary applications and Apples unwillingness to work with other software vendors gives me hesitation. In the end I decided to wait and see what comes up to compete with it so I bout an expensive blender instead.

Apparently a psychological study has determined that iPad owners are among a select crowd of "Selfish Elites."

Or as the article put it!
According to a new study the psychological profile of iPad owners can be summed up as “selfish elites” whilehave-not critics are “independent geeks.”
